Each book of this collection shares a common element: the covers are made with traditional handmade papers from different parts of the world. They are made with care by local artisans, people who learn their trade not in schools, but from the older master who hands down his craft to the next generation. These papers need time, skill and a lot of love to be made, as the artisans do everything by hand. From harvesting the plants the right season, to making of the pulp (a natural process which can last up to 3 months), press the paper sheets, one by one and let them dry natural in the sun for months. All these papers need a natural environment to be made, far away from the modern civilization and its pollution.

The covers are dressed with handmade Khadi rag watercolor paper, interwoven with handmade nepalese lokta and block printed french mulberry paper. Khadi is a 100% cotton paper made by hand in the village of Tarihal near Hubli, in Karnataka, South India. Khadi rag papers are made from 100% cotton rag, which have longer fibers than linters that are generally used in papermaking. These genuine rag papers are known for their exceptional strength and durability.
๐กDue to the handmade nature of this paper, you may find irregularities in the surface. These are part of the magic and are not considered as defects.

The journal has 62 pages of top quality professional mould made, surface sized watercolor paper with a rough surface. The Fabriano 5 paper is mould made from 50% cotton and 50% carefully selected raw material. The absence of acid guarantees the excellent permanence and resistance to ageing.
Ideal for watercolour, tempera, gouache, acrylic, ink, charcoal, wax, graphite, felt-tipped pens, drawing and printmaking (etching, lithography and silk-screening). The new surface sizing formulation, facilitates colour lifting (colour removal) and makes the surface more resistant to repeated brush strokes. Vegan Friendly product.

I will pack your journal very carefully and post it by registered mail. It is more expensive than the simple "air-mail" service, but it will let us both breathe freely and not worry about the fate of your journal. I will email you the tracking number, so that you can track your journal during its journey to you.
๐ Standard Shipping is fulfilled by National Post. Greek postal service needs 3-10 business days (for registered/express delivery), to deliver to your country's inward Office of Exchange (local post). From then on, it depends on your local post. I have estimated the delivery time to the best of my knowledge, but there might be delays that I cannot predict.

- All sales are final. Regretfully, I cannot accept returns for a change of mind or a change of heart. However, if you have made a purchase and your item is not yet shipped, and you need to cancel the order, please contact me within 6 hours.
- If for any reason you are not happy with your (ready-to-ship) journal, please contact me within 3 days of receiving the item. I will make my best to make it up to you. Custom or personalized orders cannot be returned.
- If your order arrived damaged or incorrect, it will be repaired or replaced at no charge. Return shipping costs are your responsibility.
- If your order was unclaimed or your address was wrong and your item was returned to me, you will have to pay the actual shipping price in order to re-send it. Greek Post charges 16.5 euros per kg. Unclaimed or returned items are not eligible for a refund and after 30 days they will be donated to charity. So please, keep an eye on your purchase using the tracking number provided.
