When I started to use wet media in my journals, I was disappointed by many watercolor pads. The paper was not strong enough, or could not absorb watercolors adequately or the paint would lose its vibrancy when dry. The good watercolor papers were really expensive and I was afraid to experiment and "waste" them. I researched the market, for many years, until I found the perfect paper. It is strong, accepts watercolors, acrylics, inks and other wet media perfectly and it is really good in all my mixed media experiments both wet and dry. The last few years, it is the only paper I use.
It is made by Fabriano, an Italian paper manufacturer that produces quality paper since 1264. It is a strong 300 gsm (140lb) cold pressed mixed media paper. It is designed specifically for wet media such as watercolor, gouache, acrylics and ink. It has neutral PH and it is also acid free and chlorine free.
I made this journal with 62 pages (counting both sides), of this unique paper, and it will be the joy of any watercolor artist, art journaler, mixed media artist or painter.

Kraft-Tex is a paper product that washes, cuts, and sews like fabric, but looks and feels like leather as it softens and wears. People call it Vegan Leather as it has the strength and durability of leather, without any animal by-products, as most man made leather have. You may have seen it in your jeans, as it has replaced the traditional leather tags at the back of your jeans.
The cover is made from this unique material and they are featuring my original art. I have applied a special UV varnish on top of the artwork, in order to keep the happy colors unalterable for many years to come but not loose on pliability of the material. I LOVE this material and I am sure that you will love it too!

I have made the binding part of the artwork of the covers. The book is sewn straight on the cover with two different colors of linen thread: mint & fuchsia. This method of binding, permits the book to open fully and does not have the "stiff spine" feeling we experience in most cased journals. I have also attached a closure ribbon with a bead, so that your book can stay closed, no matter how full it is with your art!
Its size is appr 16.5 x 12.5 cm (6.49" x 4.92"), perfect to be constantly carried in a bag, and big enough to accommodate your vision.
It is a perfect gift for watercolor artists, mixed media artists, writers and people who need a good quality journal. It can be used as a sketchbook, an art journal, a notebook, a diary, or for every occasion a special book is needed.

I will pack your journal very carefully and post it by registered mail. It is more expensive than the simple "air-mail" service, but it will let us both breathe freely and not worry about the fate of your journal. I will email you the tracking number, so that you can track your journal during its journey to you.
๐ Standard Shipping is fulfilled by National Post. Greek postal service needs 3-10 business days (for registered/express delivery), to deliver to your country's inward Office of Exchange (local post). From then on, it depends on your local post. I have estimated the delivery time to the best of my knowledge, but there might be delays that I cannot predict.

- All sales are final. Regretfully, I cannot accept returns for a change of mind or a change of heart. However, if you have made a purchase and your item is not yet shipped, and you need to cancel the order, please contact me within 6 hours.
- If for any reason you are not happy with your (ready-to-ship) journal, please contact me within 3 days of receiving the item. I will make my best to make it up to you. Custom or personalized orders cannot be returned.
- If your order arrived damaged or incorrect, it will be repaired or replaced at no charge. Return shipping costs are your responsibility.
- If your order was unclaimed or your address was wrong and your item was returned to me, you will have to pay the actual shipping price in order to re-send it. Greek Post charges 16.5 euros per kg. Unclaimed or returned items are not eligible for a refund and after 30 days they will be donated to charity. So please, keep an eye on your purchase using the tracking number provided.
