As a bookbinder, I have used my share of different types of bone folders. Even the best, lasted only for a couple of months! Even if I do not accidentally throw it and break some edge, glue and paint stick on it and cannot be removed. I have also tear my share of papers during folding, after applying more pressure than needed or a pressing at a wrong angle. Perhaps this is your story also, even if you are not a bookbinder, as I am. Perhaps you use a bone folder beacause you are a scrapbooker, a card maker, you love to fold books or you just make origami!

About 12 years ago, I bought my first Teflon Folder and this was the end of my troubles. I never tear or glaze paper anymore! It is a breeze to fold even the most delicate Japanese rice paper! I can burnish my books, during the glueing process wiithout fear. I can fold crisp lines easily. My tool does not break, even if it falls from my bench and step on it. And nothing, NOTHING sticks on it! No glue, no paint or ink- nothing at all! And every time I use it, it becomes even better as it polishes on its own!

๐Ÿ”ฅ Teflon Folders are a tool for life, as they only get smoother and shinier with age and use. They are made from a strong, non-contaminating and non-stick material, which means that adhesives, inks and paints will not stick to it. It is really difficult to tear even the most delicate paper with a teflon folder, while it produces crisp and accurate creases.
