The finish has been made with several layers of ecological varnishes, to protect the artwork and ensure the vitality of colours for many years to come. It is decorated with metal elements to add to the gyspy look and style. The spine is decorated by a detachable charm It is bound using strong 3-ply Crawford's Irish linen thread.
