I made this journal having in mind all these people (including myself) who love sketching/ drawing/ writing with dry media including markers, gel pens, inks etc, but cannot find a journal with a good no "bleed" or see through paper. Although markers and gel pens are the "must" of our times, it is really difficult to find a journal with the appropriate paper. So I decided to make a series of journals dedicated to the modern artist , the writer, the poet, the planner or even the list maker! This journal has 62 pages (counting both sides) of 180gsm Bristol paper in bright white. This paper is appropriate for a variety of both wet and dry media and is a perfect surface for collage. Its versatility makes it an ideal work surface for mixed media artwork. It has a smooth, flat surface. It's a fantastic surface for pencil, pen and ink, technical pen, marker, gouache and acrylic paint. Typically, any media that you'd prefer on a flat surface will be ideal on the smooth bristol paper. The journal is sewn with waxed linen thread in white and its back has special reinforcements, resistant to water , that also permit the book to open flat. The spine is made from strong man made leather in brown. Its size is appr 17.2 x 24.5 cm (6.77" x 9.645"), perfect to be constantly carried in a bag, and big enough to accomodate your vision.
